Enrolment at MPS
Dear Parents and Carers,
Please note: the new AusVels Curriculum has changed the year level terminology starting in 2014. The first year of mainstream school, previously called 'Prep' by the education department (DEECD), is now called Foundation. We apologise for any confusion or inconvenience as we re-write documents at our school and on the website to reflect these changes. For enrolments during the school holidays please email the Principal directly - [email protected] for more information. |

Foundation Buddies
MPS student enrolments have been steadily increasing since 2009. In 2014 we have 182 students attending our school.
To maintain the ‘small-school’ feel and caring environment of MPS, our long-term plan is for a total school population of no more than 250 students.
In 2014 we have 5 Foundation grades, two grade 1/2s, a grade 3, a grade 4/5 and a grade 5/6 for a total of 10 grades. You can find detailed information about our grade structuring HERE.
If you missed our Open Day or Information sessions, please contact the office to make an appointment if you have a Foundation - Grade 6 student wishing to enrol for 2015.
Prospective parents need to complete an enrolment form.
Children aged 5 years on or before April 30th may be enrolled to start Foundation in that year.
Proof of date of birth must be sighted by the school.
Prior to beginning school, our new foundation students will be invited to attend ‘transition sessions’.
Read all about our Foundation Enrolment & Transition program here.
With an experienced and enthusiastic staff profile on-board we know we have something to offer your child. Make a time to come and talk to us about our excellent results and uniquely supportive learning environment.
Personal tours are available – contact the school to make an appointment or for more information.
